Ten words from our IELTS word list

Acquire, consensus, phenomenon, hypothesis, methodology, criteria, coherent, facilitate, rationale, and substantial are ten words from the same IELTS academic word list you'll find once you sign up. Two of these are also easy to slip up on. The middle of 'consensus' invites a 'c' where an 's' belongs, and 'facilitate' tends to pick up an extra 'l'. What review looks like, before you sign up

Say you test yourself on 'consensus' and it takes you all three attempts. When the word resolves, you see the correct spelling, and that result places the word onto your own review schedule. The first reviews come at short, fixed gaps. From there, the gaps stretch out while you keep resolving it correctly, and later misses pull it back for closer attention. That's the whole demonstration, not a badge, not a streak, just your own words coming back on a schedule shaped by how you actually spell them.

What this covers, and what it doesn't
